A few months ago we were frustrated to our limit with our boxer, Odin. We could not understand why he was becoming overly dominant and aggressive towards other dogs, and in some instances people. Of course this problem is a very sensitive and dangerous issue. Taking him to a park to exercise was impossible as he was way too aggressive with any dog he saw. Taking him in the car was also a headache because he barked at everything. Since we have previously owned other dogs with little training problems, these issues came as a huge eye opener. Consideration was certainly given to putting him down. The problems were not just limited to aggressiveness, but he had many training issues such as pulling on the leash, excessive barking, and disobeying commands. We began looking into training options and chose to work with Ted. Since the first day of training with Ted, Odin’s behavior has greatly improved. We can now take him to the park and enjoy spending time with him and he no longer barks at things when he is in the car. Ted’s helpful attitude and training methods have changed the way we view and care for our dog. We highly recommend his services, not just for aggression issues, but for the overall betterment of the life of you and your pet.

Luckily we found you guys recently. We needed help with our two German shepherds aged one and two. They each had their different share of problems and Ted individualized each dogs training based on their different personalities and needs. We had problems with both dogs barking in the car, pulling on the leash, charging the door when people would come to the door, leaving the yard and recall, just to name a few. With one of our dogs, there was a fear of large men other dogs. Ted showed us the proper techniques to use for all of our problems with both dogs and within one training session we noticed a massive improvement.

I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The dogs don’t bark in the car anymore, no more pulling on leash, they sit at the door and wait for people to come in and out, they never leave the yard, they are doing great with the recall and no more fear of large men. His professionalism and knowledge made the training very pleasant and the fact that he came into our home and worked around our schedule was perfect for us. We got our dog Isobel, a rescue dog from Labrador, when she was 10 weeks old.  When we got her she had few behavioral issues we had to deal with. Izzy pulled at the leash, jumped on people-dogs-counters, and we also wanted a dog we could walk confidently off leash around other dogs.

Ted worked with the whole family and taught us how to address each issue. After the first session we noticed a huge improvement in Izzy’s behavior, she was no longer pulling on the leash! We have now finished our in-home sessions and have a lovely, well-behaved family dog! We all enjoy walking Isobel and are confident walking her around other dogs and people. We enjoyed working with Ted a great deal. He adapted to our specific needs and he was patient, helpful and very knowledgeable.
