Rules

1.Make sure your dog has relieved him/herself before entering the facility.

2.All dogs must be rinsed and brushed before entering the pool and after their swim is complete.

3.Keep your Dog under control at all times- Floors are slippery when wet.

4.Keep your dog on a leash, before and after leaving the poolroom.

5.Only One Dog in the pool at a time.

6.Only the trainer and dog are permitted on the pool deck. We encourage you to watch and take pictures, but only from the side of the pool.

7.UPK9 staff has the right to refuse service to any dog, for any reason.

SELF SWIMS

• ONLY offered to Clients that have had the minimum assisted swims and have successfully passed our UPK9 Trainers’ standards.
• ONLY one person and one dog in the pool at a time.
• MANDATORY of two people in the room during a self-swim.

Regulations

1.While every care is taken for your dog undergoing pool activities, your dog does so at there owners risk.

2.Dogs should have proof of vaccination pr Health Certificate, to be pronounced upon request.

3.Dogs should have regular veterinary care during treatment to ensure they are fit to swim.

4.Dogs with infectious or contagious conditions, such as ear, eye or skin infections cannot be allowed in the pool. Owners are advised to cancel all appointments with at least 24hrs notice until the condition is clear and normal cancellation conditions apply.

5.Please ensure that your dog has relieved himself/herself prior to swimming. If the dog defecates in the pool, the pool must be emptied and then shut down for a period of 24 hours and all filters must be replaced. Therefore a $200.00 charge will be applied.

6.Your Dog must be groomed or at least brushed to UPK9’s Standards.

7.Dogs have to be rinsed and brushed before entering the pool.

8.Session fees will be charged in full if an appointment is canceled without 24 hours notice.

9.All dogs must be kept under control and on leash while on the premises.

10.It is the owner’s responsibility to clean up after their dogs when on the premises and in the surrounding area. Pick up bags are available, if required.

11.UPK9 reserve the right to use photos and video footage taken during sessions or on the premises.

12.UPK9 Staff may request written confirmation from your vet stating your dog is healthy to partake in water activity.
