Pool Regulations

1. While every care is taken for your dog undergoing pool activities, your dog does so at their owner’s risk.
2. Dogs should have proof of vaccination or Health Certificate, to be produced upon request.
3. Dogs should have regular veterinary care during treatment to ensure they are fit to swim.
4. Dogs with infectious or contagious conditions, such as ear, eye or skin infections cannot be allowed in the pool. Owners are advised to cancel all appointments with at least 24hrs notice until the condition is clear and normal cancellation conditions apply.
5. Please ensure that your dog has relieved himself/herself prior to swimming. If the dog defecates in the pool, the pool must be emptied and then shut down for a period of 24 hours and all filters must be replaced. Therefore a $200.00 charge will be applied.
6. Your Dog must be groomed or at least brushed to UPK9’s Standards.
7. Dogs have to be rinsed and brushed before entering the pool.
8. Session fees will be charged in full if an appointment is cancelled without 24 hours notice.
9. All dogs must be kept under control and on leash while on the premises.
10. It is the owner’s responsibility to clean up after their dogs when on the premises and in the surrounding area. Pick up bags are available, if required.
11. UPK9 reserve the right to use photos and video footage taken during sessions or on the premises.
12. UPK9 Staff may request written confirmation from your vet stating your dog is healthy to partake in water activity.
13. UPK9 reserves the right to refuse services to any dog if they feel that it is in the best interest of the dog.

Assisted Swims

1. Make sure your dog has relieved him/herself before entering the facility. If the dog defecates in the pool, the pool must be emptied and then shut down for a period of 24 hours and all filters must be replaced. Therefore a $200 penalty will be charged.
2. All dogs must be rinsed and brushed before entering the pool and after their swim is complete.
3. Keep your dog under control at all times – Floors are slippery when wet.
4. Keep your dog on a leash before and after leaving the poolroom.
5. Only one dog in the pool at a time.
6. Only the trainer and dog are permitted on the pool deck. We encourage you watch and take pictures but only from the side of the pool.
7. UPK9 staff has the right to refuse services to any dog, for any reason.

Self-Swims

1. Only offered to members whose dogs have successfully passed our UPK9 trainers’ standards.
2. A Minimum of three Assisted Swims before you can self swim your dog.

Single Swim

• $40.00 per assisted swim session (sorry, no self-swim option to non-members)
• Complimentary use of wash and rinse tubs
• Complimentary use of furminator deshedding tool
• Each session is 30 minutes, which includes pre-rinse, swim, post-rinse and towel dry.

Memberships

• Single Membership
  • $200.00 Annually for one dog
  • Assisted Swim Sessions: $30.00 (a discount of $10.00 off regular prices)
  • Self-Swim Sessions: $25.00 (a discount of $15.00 off regular prices)

  • One-time complimentary use of furminator deshedding tool

• Pack Memberships, For More Than One Dog
  • $300.00 Annually for two dogs in the same household
  • $350.00 Annually for three dogs in the same household
  • $400.00 Annually for four or more dogs in the same household
  • Assisted Swim Sessions: $30 for the first dog, $25 for the second dog, $20 for subsequent dogs. One dog in the pool per 30 minute session; discount only applicable for consecutive sessions.
