Just wanted to write a little message expressing our happiness with the training we received through the Kings County K-9 Obedience Program. When we started the training with our wonderful Golden Retriever she had a long way to go. We were wondering if this dog would ever calm down long enough for our daughter to enjoy the love of having a pet. Well, guess what she did!!! Our daughter now expects Kyia (our dog) to do everything with her and Kyia even listens to her. Kyia is obedient when ANYONE speaks to her. We are especially proud of the training she obtained in the group sessions as well. It is amazing to see her and watch her reaction when other people or dogs pass us on our walk-there is NO reaction!!!!! This is good. All other dogs run towards her, growl, and barks but Kyia does not even flinch just continues on walking.
We cannot thank Kings County K-9, especially Duke, for the great training, patience, and support with Kyia. She is now a fun, yet still excitable, loving family addition.
