Hello my name is Melissa and I was wondering if you would be able to help our family .. three weeks ago we got a Rottweiler /pit mixed puppy from an elderly lady who said she was allergic to her and since we had lost our dog 4 months ago we decided to give this puppy a home … we were under the impression that she was trained good with children people and travelled well …. but she wasn’t trained and is an extremely nervous dog around most people … men seem to really frighten her but over the last three weeks she has excepted my husband and son myself and my two daughters … we were able to get her potty trained and she starting to put weight on she also had a terrible bladder and bacterial vaginosis infection which we have taken care of …. but her overwhelming fear of the world around her is very troublesome ….. we have an extremely busy home where people come in and out constantly … and as summer approaches visits will only increase ….. she is scared of everyone that comes into our home and barks terribly … we haven’t been able to introduce her to many people because she’s so frightened …She also nipped at my youngest daughter who is 16 a few days ago but then seems to be fine with her now so I’m very confused..I know she was born sometime in October so should roughly be five months old … we want her to have a fantastic life where she enjoys everything and everybody without being so scared so I hope that you can help us … we have fallen in love with this little girl and want to give her the best life possible ..We live outside of Digby but don’t mind travelling if you think you can help us Thanks Melissa
