Thank you! I,m a balanced dog trainer & i use e-collars in some of my traoning & on my own dog. I get alot of crap from my dog friends/clients that don’t have the proper info on them & how to use them correctly. Forwarding this article, thank you, well stated!!

TY for such a common sense explanation of history and modern facts re E-collars. Unfortunately so many issues today are driven by fear and emotional hysteria without any investigation or common sense logic applied. I would much prefer my friend receive a strong Tens nick when in a tunnel vision chase than to have bury what’s left after being hit by a car. City/suburbian ppl don’t understand true off leash training as they have never experienced it and simply have no means of understanding how beneficial E-collars are for field dogs. Safety for my 4 legged friend is #1 priority. Why would I chose to induce harm on my most trusted and loyal friends. E-collars can be abused like anything else including treats. Nothing is 100% But I’ve personally seen E-collars save pets lives. Keep up the great education. And again, I Thank you
