Two more German Shepherds unleashed!

Two more German Shepherds unleashed and enjoying life. Read this testimonial.

Luckily we found you guys recently. We needed help with our two German shepherds aged one and two. They each had their different share of problems and Ted individualized each dogs training based on their different personalities and needs. We had problems with both dogs barking in the car, pulling on the leash, charging the door when people would come to the door, leaving the yard and recall, just to name a few. With one of our dogs, there was a fear of large men other dogs. Ted showed us the proper techniques to use for all of our problems with both dogs and within one training session we noticed a massive improvement.

I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The dogs don’t bark in the car anymore, no more pulling on leash, they sit at the door and wait for people to come in and out, they never leave the yard, they are doing great with the recall and no more fear of large men. Friends and family have noticed the difference and asked “What’s your secret?” Ted is our secret! Ted goes above and beyond the limits of being a dog trainer and is always there for us. His professionalism and knowledge made the training very pleasant and the fact that he came into our home and worked around our schedule was perfect for us. I would recommend them to any four legged friend that I may meet. Thank you Ted, you have truly changed our lives.

Rescue Dog Izzy’s success story

We got our dog Isobel, a rescue dog from Labrador, when she was 10 weeks old. When we got her she had few behavioral issues we had to deal with. Izzy pulled at the leash, jumped on people-dogs-counters, and we also wanted a dog we could walk confidently off leash around other dogs.

The Unleashed Potential Trainer worked with the whole family and taught us how to address each issue. After the first session we noticed a huge improvement in Izzy’s behavior, she was no longer pulling on the leash! We have now finished our in-home sessions and have a lovely, well-behaved family dog! We all enjoy walking Isobel and are confident walking her around other dogs and people. We enjoyed working with Unleashed Potential a great deal. The Trainer adapted to our specific needs and he was patient, helpful and very knowledgeable.

Puppy Management Program Info

Puppy Management for all breed pups large and small between the ages of 8 and 20 weeks old?

Puppy Management training is the best foundation you can get for your pup. You start with 1 private lesson and then attend puppy group classes every week until your dog is about 20 weeks old. The classes are every Thursday night 6:30 until 7:30pm. All you need to do is let us know when you can do your private intro lesson and we will book you and your puppy in.

Puppies first shots are required to attend. Come and let us show you how to start your puppy off on the right path to future training with good puppy manners.

E-collar Demonstration – out of control dog

E-collar demonstration with Murphy, an overexcited, energetic dog. Murphy’s owners thought he was an out of control dog. They were then introduced to an e-collar and had a demonstration with Duke Ferguson to learn just how to properly communicate with Murphy and redirect his attention back to them.

Watch this video of an e-collar demonstration I had with the owners of Murphy. A dog they considered out of control which was mostly extra energy he didn’t know how to redirect. At the beginning they can barely hold onto the leash. Watch Murphy at the end.
