What are the benefits of hiring professional dog trainers?

Why should you bother with a professional dog trainer? Has anyone regretted properly training their dog? I have never heard anyone say so?….but Keep in mind many people try hard on their own by searching the web and end up getting lots of conflicting opinions and ideas. If training is not done properly it is possible to create more unwanted behaviours instead of less.

We see people every day that are confused and frustrated with to much conflicting info, trying it on their own with little results or success and ending up with conflict with their dog. Without step-by-step education on how dogs learn, clear communication, proper use of training tools, techniques and the science behind the world of dog training you can cause a lot of unwanted issues. There are pr ofessionals for a reason and you should choose one with a balanced approach. One who has lots of credentials and experience, a great reputation and most important of all proven results. You wouldn’t let your dentist near your mouth if he told you he could do the procedure based on a video he saw on YouTube or on TV now would you? LOL

“Bosco is a wonderful, loving dog, who enjoys being around people. He possesses a large amount of energy and loves to play and run. However, at times, this energy has manifested as aggression and even disobedience. The biggest reason I searched out Duke Ferguson at Unleashed Potential K9 Academy was because I had exhausted all my avenues for attempting to curb Bosco’s unwanted behaviours. Through private consultation, Duke was able to tailor a plan for Bosco that met his unique needs. Specifically, Bosco was so stressed in the beginning of training that he did not have a strong drive for food. What worked for us was using his toys to train. Now, when I bring out the e-collar he understands that its time to do something fun but that he has to listen and be mindful of his behaviour! My German Shepherd dog Zeus and I just completed our training with Unleashed Potential and the training was great! . UPK9 helped me turn my dog into a very happy well trained dog who now gets along with others. I could not be more pleased with the results and was worth every penny to have a 120 lbs. of manageable dog. My husband thought I was crazy at first but even in the first lesson he was impressed.

This training is worth the time and effort and money. If your dog is not very social or does not listen call Unleashed Potential and they will give you a more loving friend that you can take with you anywhere.
